scholarships to Travis Chester,
son of dept member Mitch Chester. Travis is currently
studying Psychology at UCONN.
Also, (but not pictured) receiving an award this year is
Jessica Morgan, daughter
of Deputy Chief Janet Morgan and Captain Frank Morgan.
Jessica will be attending her junior year at Southern
Vermont College in Bennington Vermont.

The dept recently initiated a one-time $1000 scholarship
award program for the sons and daughters of dept members.
The program was designed to assist members, many of whom are
3rd generation firefighters, with some of the costs of
continuing education. Members must have at least
5 years of service and be in active status. |
