All the Woodbury Emergency Services participated in the annual food drive today at LaBonne's. Santa arrived in a police car and greeted children from all ages during the events. The Woodbury Emergency Services would like to thank all of those who were able to donate to the food drive.

The WVFD was dispatched to 218 Old Sherman Hill Road this morning for a residential fire alarm activation but, luckily it turned out to be just burnt toast. The homeowners were already venting the building by opening windows so there was no need for any apparatus to respond.
On May 21, 2009, a 36-year-old FF was seriously injured while operating in a non-designated collapse zone of a commercial structure when an overhang of a bowstring truss roof system collapsed and struck him.

The WVFD was out and running again this morning for yet another structure fire. Smaller than most, but a structure none the less. A 6' x 6' wooden structure, once a tree house but converted to a chicken coop was lost to fire today.

WVFD had just arrived back at Orenaug Station and were driving back into the building when they were dispatched to a car fire in a garage. Car 1 left immediately for the call while firefighters were getting in to Engine 4 to respond.

Santa made his appearance at the annual Christmas festival in style again this year. WVFD watch him land his sleigh behind the fire station and they then shuttled him over the the Woodbury Middle School for a meet and greet with the children.

The WVFD has been busy with 3 rollover motor vehicle accidents in 2 days. Sunday morning they were dispatched to the first on Mill Road a little before 7am. Monday afternoon they were sent to one on White Deer Rocks Road and Monday evening back to the corner of Mil Road and Middle Road Turnpike.
